I ate too much yesterday.

It wasn’t my fault.

On Saturday, we catered a wedding, and it was so fun and wonderful and crazy and insane and great.

I drank some champagne.

So yesterday, Sunday, my feet and arms and hands and eyelids hurt so I didn’t do anything productive.

Like, anything.  I started the dishwasher washed c. 7 out of 77 dirty dishes, then watched TV for 4 hours.

The issue with this, of course, is that my kitchen was too disorganized (REALLY) to even make a sandwich, if I was the kind of person who ate sandwiches, which I’m not.

So, I took it upon myself to order pizza.  Papa Johns, to be exact. 1 large pizza and 1 order of breadsticks.  Jay was at work.  It was just for me.

That’s a lot for a girl! Or a boy.  Or anyone.

So, I ate it.  Not all of it, but more than 1 piece of pizza, which would have been appropriate.

So, today, let’s have a salad, mmkay?

Make some dressing.  This one is great.

Now, for the salad, gather up the following things:

  • 4 cups salad greens
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 cup toasted chopped pecans
  • 4 strips cooked chopped bacon
  • 1 small box or 1/4 cup raisins.

Toss that nonsense together.  Drizzle on some dressing, and forgive yourself for yesterday.
