Happy Monday!

I’m tired.

This weekend we had our housewarming party, which involved at least 8 bottles of wine, one box of wine, and 4+ cases of beer.

It also involved 10 pounds of ground beef rolled nicely into meatballs which were DEVOURED almost as fast as the booze was drunk.

Drank.

Drinked.

Damn it.

Anyway, remember awhile ago when we made super delicious meatballs in marinara?  They’re easy.  They’re cheap. They’re delicious.

Then, a little while after that, we made our own spicy/sweet/smoky BBQ sauce and slathered it on practically an entire meal.

Meat and BBQ sauce…….together at last! Right, because I invented that.

Anyway. Multiply the BBQ sauce recipe by FOUR for about 4 pounds of ground beef.  Then, make the meatballs as usual, using the link above, adjusting the measurements as necessary for whatever amount of meat your purchase.  Don’t worry about exact measurements – they’ll taste great no matter what!

Roast the meatballs until they’re just barely cooked through – this can be done up to 3 days in advance.  Then, toss the ‘balls in the barbecue sauce and let them simmer for 30 minutes or as long as you have.

I serve these in a big warming dish or pot with toothpicks for self-service.  Easy, and DELICIOUS.

Or, for a fun dinner, why not have BBQ meatballs with roasted garlic mashed potatoes?
